Fathers Program (P.A.I.) - Participation / Friendship and Positive Influence

Abrigo's Fathers Program is a free parenting program for fathers conducted in English and Portuguese. The eight (8) week session engages men in considering how they can become more positively involved in their children's lives and invites fathers to discuss their parenting challenges with other fathers.

Topics discussed include:

  • Building supportive, caring relationships with your children after there has been conflict / hurt in the home
  • The impact of family conflict / hurting on children and their relationship with their father figure
  • Understanding how a child's age, personality and lived experiences impact their relationship with you
  • Building emotion regulation and stress management in support of your relationship with yourself and your children
  • Positive ways of managing challenging times and conflict with your children

This program operates in partnership with the Catholic Children’s Aid Society.

A new group starts virtually on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. to 8;30 p.m.
